The Association is capable of retrieving a file name whose description matches certain key words you specify. Here are instructions for using this special utility - whether you use it online or via netmail:
To use it, send a message to "search" with two search words - one in the Subject field, and one in the first line of the message. Extra lines in the message are ignored (past the first).
Example
~~~~~~~
To: Search
Subject: research
_____________________________
researcher
The results of the search are sent to you via e-mail within one minute of the request (due to the size of the description list) and looks like:
The following files matched the two key words (research,researcher) you submitted...
Directory: Educational...
File Name: K12_INFO.ZIP Size: 23253
Info on the K12 echo, which is an educator's echo
for research, and for young people to chat international
with others.
Directory: HyperCard
File Name: dairydebate.sit.hqx Size: 266495
A stack describing research into milk
production-enhancing drugs and their effect on the milk
we might drink. Quite informative.
Directory: Text & Editors
File Name: TEX 1.91.sit Size: 119959
The ultimate text file search/browse/study tool!
TEX 1.9.1 moves the help display into its own field,
and out of the message box - very pleasant for modular
Mac owners! TEX can index text files in the multi-
gigabyte sizes and provide instant searching features
for any word or logical word combination. TEX also has
a fast RTF (RIch Text Format) conversion utility that
allows it to index BOTH text and pictures in a format
like Quill, so the picture is always inline with the
document - but not in the way! TEX is an awesome
research and study tool - nothing compares in its class.
